Minnesota’s politicians are still pointing fingers over the handling of Minneapolis’ riots. In recent news, mayor Jacob Frey has attempted to blame the governor for not promptly sending in the National Guard. Tim Walz on the other hand has argued that they offered swift support. With up to $500 million in damages, no Democratic leader has taken responsibility or offered viable solutions to protect Minnesotans.
A full 24 hours before the 3rd police precinct was given up, Mayor Jacob Frey asked Tim Walz to send in the National Guard. This was revealed in a series of text messages that also report Walz’s hesitation. Frey has become outspoken on the issue since he has received backlash nationally. Other mayors, including Lori Lightfoot of Chicago have refused to work on solving civil unrest with Frey.
Nearly 3 months after the riots occurred, no politicians have taken responsibility for the mishandling of events. As violence and crime increased, the leaders of Minneapolis responded by defunding the police. Their inability to take proper action has now set a precedent for other Democratically controlled cities. Across the nation, Democratic cities have seen upticks in crime, and leftists leaders wish to abolish the police.
With a community destroyed under Democratic control, Minnesotans must make an effort to elect new leadership. Residents feel unsafe and dozens of businesses prepare to leave Minneapolis. 60 years of Democratic oversight has led to this downfall and placed distrust in law enforcement. This November, Minnesotans will opt for change and make their state red again.

I’m surprised that this bunch of”politicians” haven’t blamed the voters for “accidentally” putting them in the offices they have bungled !!
What needs to be reformed, defunded, and dismantled is not law enforcement. City council, Mayor Governor and Police Chief all need to be recalled and removed immediately. No need to wait for an election. They have failed there responsibility as leaders to protect its people and their communities.
Ellison also needs to go for withholding evidence of the body camera videos which do not show the Officers bullying or manhandeling Floyd who was foaming at the mouth and complaining that he could not breathe shortly after being removed from his vehicle. He was asked repeatedly what he was on. The Officer kneeling on his neck was wrong but all evidence should have been revealed.
It is illegal to require people to wear masks without a vote by the people
Turn the state “Red again”? I’ll believe THAT when I see it.
In fact, I even doubt the boy-child Mayor will get replaced by a Republican.
.
Minneapolis was a rising star of the midwest some years ago, not anylonger, I have no interest to visit the once great clean city. I believe Des Moines IA is now the rising star of the midwest. I don’t hear anything of how the citizens of that city feel, apparently they are either in shell-shock or just don’t care about their city.

The reason both the Mayor and governor were complacent in taking swift action to save the businesses and public buildings is because they agree with the BLM agenda and the misinformed so called peaceful protesters. This is what 40 years of ONE party rule will get you regardless of which party dominates.
I agree with all the the above 5 comments. The Democrats have destroyed our beautiful state. They need to go and they can’t go soon enough. MN will wear the stain of starting this wave of rioting and violence across this nation. The taxpayers should not foot the bill but unfortunately that is ultimately what is going to happen. I have already sent 2 online messages to Walz and encourage others to do so as well. Flipping the state red will be a challenge indeed with all the misinformation being spewed that the people in the metro are eating up as fast as they can. Maybe it will happen but I’m not going to bank on it.
I agree with all the comments above. The Democrats absolutely need to go if we are to keep the previously great city of Minneapolis. It is scarring the whole state. A lot of businesses are talking about leaving the state, so what will that leave for Minnesota. We have a dictator for governor who thinks he has the right to make all the decisions and rules for this state by himself. Does not believe in law and order or the constitution. He is working on the side of the protestors and Antifa. His own daughter on the night of the riots was asking protestors if they neede anything and to give her a call if they did. Sure doesn’t say much for the governor. HE ABSOLUTELY MUST BE THROWN OUT OF OFFICE. This state cannot take another 2 years of his tyrant governing. This covid is just a bunch of crap and an excuse for him to keep the emergency powers. Even doctors say the numbers are not accurate at all. Just like he spent 6-7 million dollars on the warehouse to house dead bodies which was not necessary since funeral directors said they were not overwhelmed. Don’t know what the hell he is trying to do.
So proud to see our Freedom Club standing up against those who are AntiFa! We are the law and order Minnesotans! We support the police, no matter what.
