America’s largest police union, The Fraternal Order of Police- has announced their support for Donald Trump. Their endorsement came as a unanimous agreement among members. Recently in Minnesota, the group also announced their endorsement for candidates Kendall Qualls and Jason Lewis.
With President Trump’s declaration for law and order, it comes as no surprise that America’s police are prepared to re-elect the president. The leader of The Fraternal Order of Police, Patrick Yoes states, “Look at what the national discourse has focused on for the last six months. President Trump has shown time after time that he supports our law enforcement officers and understands the issues our members face every day”.
In Minnesota, congressional candidate Kendall Qualls received his own endorsement from the Minnesota FOP. Qualls reports he is prepared to fully support our law enforcement officers while serving in office. Instead of fueling racial divides, Qualls intends to end the failed policies of urban elites that got us here in the first place.
Additionally, senatorial candidate Jason Lewis received an endorsement from the Minnesota FOP, the Minnesota Police, and Peace Officers Association. Lewis’ opponent, incumbent Tina Smith did nothing to support police officers and residents of Minneapolis during violent protests. Bob Kroll, leader of the Minneapolis Police Union states, “ We cannot watch our livelihoods be destroyed by Antifa and other extreme hate groups. This election, there is a lot at stake, but the biggest risk is law and order and bringing our nation together instead of furthering the divide”.
Minnesota’s police have experienced an unprecedented attack. While law enforcement is openly combated, leading Democrats have sat idle. The radical movement to defund the police and increased violent crime overseen by the left has driven America to an extreme divide.
