Democrats have loudly complained over SCOTUS nominee Amy Coney Barrett’s conservative values. However, their ridicule of her Christian faith goes to show they have no substantial arguments against her qualifications. Her service as a federal judge would be hard to discredit, so liberals have decided to fight her approval based on her personal beliefs. An action most Americans can see right through.
While being approved as a federal judge in 2017, Dianne Feinstein told Coney Barrett, “The dogma lives loudly within you”. A remark that fellow Catholics took pride in. Again in 2020, liberal have shared their tense concerns of Coney Barrett’s personal life. Ridiculous remarks have been made on her mixed race family, pro life views, and baseless accusations that she will revoke women’s rights.
As one of the brightest and successful female Judges, it is inconceivable to say that Coney Barrett will work to undermine American women. She has taught at Notre Dame Law School and judged the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. However the mainstream media has drummed up the idea that she wishes to demote a women’s role in society.
One of the most absurd attacks on Coney Barrett was for her alleged ‘racism’. The judge has been accused of being racist for adopting two Hattian children into her family. Extremists have called her a ‘colonizer’ and other disgusting labels. As ridiculous as these attacks are, they will only harm the left. Accusing Conservatives of ‘racism’ is now used as a last ditch effort to discredit them.
But the American people are not quite as godless as the senators and pundits who oppose Coney Barrett. For those who worry about her pro-life views; she has stated numerous time that her own religious beliefs would not be used to interpret the Constitution. It is clear that Coney Barrett has been discriminated against by liberals for her religious views, and not her ability to judge.
